Guess who’s getting married tomorrow?! This beautiful couple right here, Aurora & Victor! We shot their engagement photos at a beautiful state park and drove to the beach afterwards for a sunset picnic. It couldn’t have gone better. Sweet Aurora was drop dead gorgeous and Victor brought his A game! They are sooooo in love, you can feel it from the photos. *Can you feel the love tonight?* I can’t wait for their long awaited wedding tomorrow in LA 🙂

It always begin with a feeling. Something unspoken and unexplainable, something you need to slow down for and just take notice. This time it’s going to be different and worth it. Its a good feeling and it was going to last. There’s always something about both Adrianna and Jeremy that gravitated them towards each other over the years and miles spent apart. In their presence, it feels so right and beautiful. I thought it was just me, but they also took everyone’s breath away at their wedding. It was a lovely union celebration and I couldn’t be happier to be their photographer! Church Ceremony: Sacred Heart Church
Meet Jenny & Allen, they came all the way from Vegas for their engagement session and I couldn’t be more honored! Their relationship has been a heck of a journey as they moved across cities to be together. Today, he happily placed a ring on it and love is evidently in the air. We did their session at two completely different locations for two looks: a romantic French cafe in South Park and among the beautiful tides of Point Loma. San Diego just has it all!! Best part, their baby Jack was happy to pose along =)
Planning engagement sessions with my clients is always fun. Sometimes we would get lost in a big list of possible themes, props, and amazing San Diego locations. And then there are couples like Yen and Harvey who wants to take us back to where it all began… a lovely (and nerve racking) first date at Bleu Boheme in Kensington. Harvey finally gathered the nerves to ask her out and had it all planned out. After some pleasant conversations over good french food, she turned out to be women he could see himself marrying. I love the excitements and factors around first dates. Back and forth, observations would be made between every action and silent questions would bubble off. Should I hold her hand? What should I wear? Where will he take me? Please no awkward turtles… Is there something in my teeth? haha anyways, we went back to bring it full circle and relive (re-taste!) those moments. We also took advantage of San Diego’s beauty and snapped some fun ones Torrey Pines. Yen was looking beautiful and they’re so great together. I also did Harvey’s sister’s wedding a couple of years ago so its an extra honor to be able to do his wedding as well. Can’t wait!

Matt Phipps is such a professional, friendly, and amazing DJ. I’ve seen him work his magic with all sorts of crowds. With him, sound, lighting, and entertainment is on point. He also works closely with photographers so that they don’t miss a moment! He’s worth it =)
