Covid 19 changed our lives in so many ways. My 2020 was tossed all over the map. Weddings were constantly getting postponed or simplified every week. Nothing was ever for sure and I just had to go with the flow and accommodate as much as possible. I also had to be more selective and careful in bookings because of the pandemic. After all the uncertainty and stress, I got to photograph some really emotional and intimate weddings. These are the brides and grooms who had to make tough choices from their guest list to wedding dreams. It came down to their very closest friends and family. But with that comes with a lot of extra love and even less stress on the day of! I was honored to photograph some very beautiful covid weddings. 

Now, things are starting to open up and people are getting vaccinated. I shot my first big weddings recently and it feels like things are back to the way it was before. This got me missing my covid weddings. So today, I want to blog a wedding from my brother Kevin and his beautiful wife, Amber at the Carlsbad Flower Fields! 

There are always snippets that make each wedding stand out in their own unique way. With this one, there were 2 things that stood out to me: 1. The immense love felt between the couple and all their friends and family and 2. Kevin’s reaction when he saw Amber for the first time down the aisle! Ommmggg It was a burst of emotion and it was sooooooo cuteeeee. There was not one dry eye at that moment! These earth angels spent much of their time helping patients during the pandemic and have come a long way together. Thank you and congrats Kevin & Amber, love you guys!
