Destination Wedding in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico – Lisa & Didi – Part 1

To destination or not to destination… that wasn’t even a question for Lisa and Didi’s wedding. They’re adventurous world travelers and explore every weekend together @noweekendzoff! Their love and commitment to each other is so infectious and they always have a way of bringing people together for a good time. If they’re gonna say “I Do” once, it was gonna be spectacular.

When Lisa & Didi picked the magical and historical Mexican town of San Miguel, and gave me the pleasure of photographing their experience, I was overjoyed! Their itinerary had it ALL … serving the community, a garden bridal shower, a traditional Mexican parade, wedding rehearsals, the actual wedding, and a post wedding pool party!

The cool thing about having a destination wedding is that it’s more of a wedding vacation experience with loved ones. I would like to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to their amazing wedding planner, Monserrat Guerrero, who organized and executed their entire experience day after day from A to Z! Having a reliable planner to work with is a must for any destination event. Their festivities stretched over the course of 2-3 days, here goes part 1!
