Traditional Vietnamese Wedding

These love birds have been together for over a decade! Kayla had years to dream about the wedding they would have and now, WOW… it was a gorgeous, happy day. From the  lovely flower choices, hilarious bribing games at the Bride’s doorway, FOOD, the modern decor at Lucky Star Seafood Restaurant, and the lighting set up, everyone was very impressed. On top of that, they have the best group of friends and family to share the latest chapter of their love story with. Everlasting Video Wedding and I couldn’t be happier to capture Kayla and Tung’s wedding after we got to know them during their engagement shoot with us. They can be playful and yet so in love at the same time. Congratulations!

Wedding at the Coronado Community Center

When you put a groovy groom together with a sassy bride, you get the one and only Otis & Megan! Their wedding took place in Coronado at the historical Glorietta Bay Inn and the Coronado Community Center. Coronado Island is very special because it was where Megan’s parents also got married, thus marking the beginning of their big fat happy family. The entire day was full of energy, silliness, and lots and lots of love toward the anticipated newly weds. What a fun wedding these two cuties created for everyone… watch out, this is going to be a big post!

I Love her shoe choice and it derserves to be on this shelf!
Megan and Otis already traveled the world together so I though this would be fitting for their ring shots =)

I love it when my brides opt for a first look before the ceremony. They share this special private moment of seeing each other for the first time without any stress or anxiety. And they get to have all their portraits done before their late ceremony so that they can enjoy the rest of their married time with their huge friends and family afterwards!
Oh boy, Otis’ reactions were priceless!

Work it girl! She’s so fun to work with =)
Instead of a candle or sand ceremony, Megan and Otis wanted a garden ceremony, how lovely!
Told ya their families were big!
DJ Matt Phipps had the crowd on their feet ALL night til the very last song. He’s awesome!

Sweet, Young, Love

Its not everyday that I get an email from a girl who wants to surprise her boyfriend with a photoshoot for their 2 year anniversary right after high school. They shared theee “high school tale of romance” . At St. Augustine High, she went to the all girl’s school and he was across the street studying at the all boy’s school. She became a lovely cheerleader and he trained to stardom at his football team. At football games, their paths kept crossing and he thought  and said, “she is the most beautiful girl in school”. After about a year of budding friendship, he finally asked her out and the rest is history. Two years later, they’re still going strong, graduating, and uniting into the same college (YAY) in Arizona. Its my sweetest pleasure to introduce to you Jacquelyn and Francisco! There’s something so magical and thriving about young love, I couldn’t stop smiling throughout the shoot =)

Oh yes we did, go back to St. Augustine!

Going to end this post on this adorable note. This is how she meets him half way, field style!

This is absolutely the most precious thing I have seen in a long time. Thank you all so much for sharing!!!!!!

Wedding at the Humphreys Estate

Temecula Valley always has its hidden gems for dream weddings. Donald and Amy got married in this 20 acres of beauty at Humphreys Estate. Diana and I were soooo stoked about this venue when we first discovered it. Peacocks were roaming freely, castles, underground man “caves”, fresh green vine gardens, and A GIANT MAZE. We just couldn’t wait to create some unique looking wedding photography for these love birds. The entire day was so peaceful and lovely. Amy and Donald wanted lots of natural photos of them just being in love in this fairytale setting and we couldn’t be happier to accommodate. Enjoy =)

A moment in the maze <3

Paint a Picture

I always love photographing at the romantic and vintage, Twin Oaks and Gardens for weddings in San Marcos. The staff and classic feel there is unbelievable! Meet Tara & Bryan. Aren’t they just soooo easy on the eyes and perfect for each other? One of my favorite parts of the day was when Tara performed a song she wrote for Bryan with her bridesmaids. It was called, “Paint a Picture”. I had chills all over my spine and still remember the lovely tunes from her heart. It always amazes me what love inspires and becomes of us. I love second shooting, especially because I get the opportunity to work in a unique perspective and stretch my creative strings with Amore Photography. Hope ya’ll enjoy these!

Rehearsing her song during make-up, so classy =)

While I was taking these groom shots, guests in the background were shouting, “What I’m at the wrong place, is this a GQ Magazine shoot?!” hehee..

A precious moment with her father before he walks her down the Isle. And that’s how it should be done!

In-between the photoshoot, Tara stops for a moment, “I can’t believe we’re married!!”
Fierce, work it.Sassy  fun lyrics + Amazing vocals = Chills
